Pathways Counseling Services, LLC offers a wide variety of counseling services to individuals, families, and children as young as 3 years of age. Some of the common issues Pathways handles include but are not limited to: anger management, grief and loss, reunification, trauma, sexual abuse, physical abuse, behavior modification, relationship enhancement, substance abuse/addictions, attachment problems, developmental delays, and communication skills. Pathways uses counselors that are independent contractors. The counselors that Pathways refers to attend supervision and consultation services when needed with local professionals that are well respected in their fields. The counselors also try to work closely with case managers, doctors and other professionals involved with our clients when necessary and appropriate.
Treatment goals are accomplished by implementing methods that work best for each individual's and families' unique needs. Cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, child-centered play therapy, filial therapy, family play therapy, communications counseling, parenting techniques, behavior modification training, emotional freedom therapy and other methods are used to assist families and individuals.
Pathways participates with most insurance companies serving the Franklin County area including: Aetna Behavioral Health, United Health Care, Magellan Behavioral Health, Capital Blue Cross, Highmark Blue Shield, Quest Behavioral Health, Medicare, Medical Access, TRICARE, Integrated Behavioral Health, Amerihealth, Federal Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Out-of-State BC/BS, PerformCare and many more. In addition to insurance coverage, Pathways also participates with a large number of Employee Assistance Programs. These are companies that provide assessment and short term counseling services through an employee's human resource department. Often times, these benefits are extended to an employee's family members also. A lot of companies offer these benefits and it's a good way to get connected with counseling services in your area.
